Berry Lane

Meeting from 1pm till 5pm

From October to March the West Herts Area Group assemble their portable 16mm Scale Narrow Gauge layout in a hall at the Methodist Church, Berry Lane, Rickmansworth, WD3 7HJ. Entrance is £5 to cover the cost of hiring the hall.

The layout has two circuits both, 32mm gauge, the inner one has two loops and is meant for one loco or two slow moving locos. The outer which has few sidings can take two trains running at once. Meths fired locos by arrangement.

There is a lift out bridge to allow easy access to the inside of the layout. The church has a paved car park with a ramp up to the church and a large disabled toilet. Tea and biscuits available.
