

Running Models of Narrow Gauge Trains at a Scale of 16mm to the Foot, equivalent to 1/19 full size, running on 32mm Gauge Track or 45mm G Gauge Track. These scales of modelling are large enough to enable live steam locomotives to run on tracks in your own garden.
The locos can be live steam using gas, meths or coal as fuel or battery and are often operated by Radio Control.

Frequently 32mm track is used to represent 2ft gauge track as used in North Wales and 45mm for 3ft or larger gauge track.

The WHAGs run through out the year at Brambleton Model Railway club in Harpenden, an outdoor club having one of the largest 16mm circuits in the country. From October to March the WHAGs assemble their portable layout in a hall at the Methodist Church, Berry Lane, Rickmansworth. During the summer the WHAGs meet at peoples 16mm railways in their garden.
